Before there was a garden, there was a museum. Annie spent the better part of a decade studying art history — learning to look closely at composition, color, and craft, and to ask why a piece works before deciding whether it’s good.

Then she spent years as a graphic designer, putting that eye to work — layout, color, type, the discipline of making something communicate at a glance. Twenty-five years of design experience, all told, most of it circling the same question: what makes something worth looking at twice.

Gotham Threadz is where that training gets to run on its own terms.

Every piece starts with looking — really looking, the way she learned to look at a painting. Fresh Cut comes from her own garden: peonies, dahlias, gladiolus, whatever’s at peak bloom, photographed the morning it’s cut, no filters, no AI. Still in Bloom comes from her personal art collection — pieces she chose to live with long before she chose to share them, given a second life on fabric.

The name is its own small confession. Annie isn’t from Gotham. She’s a transplant, still tugged by the place she started, building something new somewhere else — rooted and relocated at the same time. That tension is most of what you need to know about her: an eye trained on old paintings, a career spent making things worth looking at, and hands that grow flowers, all pointed for once at something entirely her own.
